With summer vacation only a few months away for numerous students, many of them are already looking ahead to the few months they will have free from studying, teachers, exams and homework. Typically known as the time to relax, party and have fun, more and more students are choosing to use the time constructively and arm themselves with valuable skills that will help them prepare for future careers. Whether it be working, volunteering, or doing a trial internship at home or abroad, Summer Break is a terrific time to build the marketable skills employers value.

Study Spanish in Spain

Spain is known for its climate, cuisine, culture and nightlife, but one of the greatest opportunities that Spain has to offer is that you can enjoy all of this while you learn the language spoken by almost 500 million people worldwide. In fact, Spanish is the official language 20 countries!

For decades, Spain has received a multitude of visitors from the cold and damp lands of the north, drawn by the sociability of its people and the reliability of its summer climate; but this complex country offers much more than sun.

Spain is impregnated with the history of the Roman Empire and Arab domination, the conquistadors, the artistic legacy of Goya, Velázquez, Picasso and Dalí, novels of chivalry, and the presence and influence of international artists and intellectuals.

The Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute (BDRI) is a marine science center for Research, Education, and Training in bottlenose dolphins ecology and behaviour. A great opportunity is open for dolphin enthusiasts to participate as students, volunteers or interns in hands-on research with free-ranging wild bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) along the Emerald Coast, in North Sardinia Island, Italy every year.
