Nova Scotia has a long and proud tradition of educational excellence. Wherever graduates continue on – overseas or within Canada – their education is recognized and respected by other universities, colleges, colleagues, peers, and employers.

Nova Scotia prides itself on being Canada's Education Province. The country's first English-speaking secondary schools and universities were founded here. We have more academic institutions per capita than anywhere else in Canada and the country's highest percentage of citizens with a post-secondary education.
